This includes the USAAF/USAAC and anyone with the Eagle Squadron 71 Squadron RAF, if you were here or had a relative based here please let us know

71sqn600.jpgThis is the Squadron Crest of those that formed the First Eagle Squadron number 71 Squadron that was formed at Martlesham Heath and all pilots were American volunteers apart from the Squadron Commander who was British. Anyone with a connection?

USAAF, 8th Air force, 356th Fighter group, 359th and 361st squadrons were based at Martlesham Heath, anyone care to say if anyone has a connection
