4th May 1982 this accident happened close to the village of Weston, near Beccles, SFK, I was on my way to Beccles the following morning not knowing anything about this F16 Aggressor aircraft crashing into the tree.

I was flagged down by the police as there were lots of Base personnel on the road and in the nearby field clearing and guarding the wreckage, the road had been cleared by this time, it makes you wonder sometimes how lucky/unlucky you can be at times
