I have just got back from an hour with Stanley Chambers ex Spitfire Pilot who is 100 on Sunday

It was his birthday show my goodness what a character he led the singing, best laugh I have had in yonks

TV cameras there, local press and the rest

Met Air Commode Mike Bettell who introduced Stanley, Mike was a pilot on 29 Sqn Frightnings at Watto

Dave Bloomfield [West Midlands] has produced this and it has gone off to BBC reporter Kevin Burch for Look East on Monday 21st November at 1830hrs, whether they show that is another matter, the footage couldn't be shown last night due to 'Children in Need'
