RE: USAAF Martlesham Fallen help please

Thanks for putting this up Tarkey

I think we have photographed the 13 graves with the UJ/US flags in front of the crosses that Tracey kindly gave us to use on that day when the Tour de France just happened to be starting their tour in Cambridge and we had the cemetery to ourselves

Either of us can put those pictures up here plus as I have some small involvement with MH100 re photos for the centenary event next year I want to speak to Robin Durrell, MHAS Archivist, to see what suitable photos can be garnered together with those from The Imperial War Museum at DX/London, perhaps Robin can point us in the right direction

We have a strong association at Martlesham Heath with Madingley/The RAF/The USAF and various other institutions http://www.mhas.org.uk/page29.html

A fighter pilot ex USAAF Ben Barnes who was classified as missing in action is no longer MIA and the MIA wall at Madingley will correct this

Taken from Tarkey's FB  page and I have just caught up on the interview

Martlesham Heath Aviation Society and Control Tower Museum
